Women’s Initiatives to Nurture, Grow and Support
In the spring of 2014, a group of women in the Greater Toronto Area (Canada) came together with a unified vision: to rise higher with the power of togetherness.
Shaped by Sanjukta Das, Humber Business School Placement Advisor and Social Activist the vision led to the birth of a non-profit organization called WINGS (Women’s Initiatives to Nurture, Grow and Support).
WINGS believes that women are the epicentre of every family. When women are supported with opportunities and resources, both the families and the communities emerge stronger.
The goal of WINGS is to ease the way through online connections, offline collaborations, networking events and fundraising celebrations to empower and uplift not just purposeful professionals but also women in difficult life situations for collective welfare across all levels.
In a short span of time, the unique insight resonated with many. It has gained momentum locally and is perched to take off globally through shared experiences and insights in a fun and enjoyable space.
WINGS is not just about us connecting with each other. It is about you connecting with us.
We welcome you to join us so we can all bring out the best in each other.
Come, let’s soar higher than ever before.
